Steve McQueen's New York Film Festival feature 12 Years A Slave received multiple honors from the Boston Society of Film Critics Sunday naming the film its choice for Best Picture, Best Actor for Chiwetel Ejiofor and Best Director. NYFF tribute honoree Cate Blanchett was named Best Actress by the organization for her work on Blue Jasmine, while the late James Gandolfini was chosen for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Enough Said. June Squibb was named Best Supporting Actress for Nebraska. The NYFF feature also received Best Ensemble Cast by the Boston critics. ND/NF's The Act of Killing by Joshua Oppenheimer received Best Documentary, while Saudi Arabia's first feature film, Wadjda was the group's choice for Best Foreign-Language film.
