The 50th edition of the New York Film Festival is getting closer! Are you following us?
As we countdown to the Opening Night of NYFF50 on Friday, September 28, we're getting ready for more announcements about the 2012 festival that we know you'll want to hear. We'll also be running some fun contests and giveaways and posting up-to-date info as we get closer to the start of the fest and all the way through Closing Night on Sunday, October 14.
We hope you'll take a moment to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get all the latest. You can also sign up for Film Society's newsletter for weekly blasts about our programming and news about NYFF50.
The selection committee has been working all year to finalize a program of films for this year's festival and, here in the office, things are getting busier by the day. From now until Opening Night we'll be running daily posts on the NYFF blog covering the history of the festival, highlights from past editions, and spotlights on the films you'll be seeing in this year's lineup. And, of course, our year-by-year survey of NYFF continues each week with our ongoing 50 Years of the New York Film Festival series. We hope you'll follow us to the 50th and join us at Lincoln Center from September 28 – October 14 for this landmark edition of the New York Film Festival.
