While many of you were catching great films during the second weekend of the New York Film Festival, one of the festival’s most unique events was being set up. Monument Film, the latest work from Austrian experimental filmmaker Peter Kubelka, is a deconstruction of cinema (and celluloid) as we know it. Tonight, it has its World Premiere here at the Walter Reade Theater, accompanied by an installation in the Furman Gallery! Before seeing it, check out these photos of Kubelka overseeing the constuction of his latest installation.
