Homeland star and co-executive producer Claire Danes and executive producer and DGA-winning director Lesli Linka Glatter will join us for an evening celebrating Showtime’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award®–winning series on June 7.

In its extraordinary fifth season, Homeland proved to be uncannily prescient in its portrayal of contemporary foreign affairs, terrorism threats, and the war of our times. Out of the CIA and living in Berlin, Carrie (Danes) starts a new life but realizes that she has a target on her back. As the danger intensifies, and without Saul (Mandy Patinkin) and Quinn (Rupert Friend) to rely on, one thing becomes clear—she’s never been at greater risk or had more to lose. For five seasons, these women have worked to bring viewers a gripping, emotional thriller and will share with audiences what goes into making this iconic television series, produced by Fox 21 Television Studios for Showtime, which has received widespread critical acclaim for its authenticity, style, acting, writing, and directing.

The event will kick off with a screening of an episode directed by Glatter from the show’s fifth season. It will be followed by an in-depth discussion with Danes and Glatter moderated by Vanity Fair‘s James Wolcott, illustrated by clips from the show and including an audience Q&A.
