The second installment of the How To Train Your Dragon trilogy will screen at the Film Society of Lincoln Center June 14. The three-part epic returns with the fantastical world of the heroic Viking Hiccup and his faithful dragon Toothless five years later.

The 3D action-adventure fantasy film will screen at the Walter Reade Theater followed by a Q&A and special presentation by DreamWorks Animation Supervisors James Baxter and Sean Sexton. The first chapter of the animated-adventure How To Train Your Dragon opened in March 2010. The story revolves around a hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons and becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, learning that there may be more to the creatures than he assumed. The feature received two Oscar nominations in 2011.

Twentieth Century Fox's How To Train Your Dragon 2 was written and directed by the Oscar-nominated Dean DeBlois (Lilo & Stitch), and features the voices of Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig, Djimon Hounsou, and Kit Harington. The film will open theatrically on June 13, 2014.
