Nader And Simin, A Separation, from Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, won the Golden Bear for best film at the Berlin International Film Festival tonight. Bela Tarr's The Turin Horse was the runner-up in the festival's competition.

The Film Society's Scott Foundas covered Nader and Simin and Bela Tarr's The Turin Horse in a dispatch publishing this morning. Earlier this month, he wrote about Ulrich Köhler's Sleeping Sickness, winner of the best director award.
