As she wraps up a stint on Broadway this week, acclaimed actress Jessica Chastain will be at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on Friday at 3:00pm for a free, hour-long conversation. An Academy Award nominee two years in a row, Chastain has quickly risen to the top of her generation of performers with award-winning roles in Zero Dark Thirty, The Help and Tree of Life. This fall and winter, Chastain has been starring on stage in The Heiress.

This Friday, February 8 at 3:00pm, Jessica Chastain will sit down for an in-person event at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center (144 W. 65th St). The free conversation inside the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Amphitheater will include film clips and an audience Q&A. Free tickets will be distributed at the Film Center box office one hour before the event. For those unable to attend in person, the program will be available online at FilmLinc.com.

Born and raised in Northern California, Jessica Chastain eventually studied acting at Lincoln Center’s Juilliard School. Her first professional roles were for television, but she achieved acclaim on the film festival circuit for her performances in John Madden’s The Debt and Jeff Nichols’ Take Shelter in 2010 and 2011.
