Over 250 of the Film Society's Members, Patrons, board members and staff were on hand to enjoy an Oscar party in the Furman Gallery last night.

Many were no doubt rooting for the films that had shown at the Film Society over the past year, including Inside Job (a selection of NYFF10, and winner, Best Documentary), The King's Speech (shown during a Patrons Screening, and winner of Best Picture and Best Director, among others), The Fighter (screened in the fall, and winner of Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress), The Social Network (Opening Night of the NYFF10, and winner of Best Film Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Score), as well as Best Foreign Film nominees Dogtooth (a selection of ND/NF10), and Incendies (a selection of the forthcoming ND/NF).
