Hello from the Film Society’s Members Program!

Here’s a quick quiz for you—what do Darren Aronofksy, Christopher Nolan, and Steven Spielberg have in common? Yes, they were all at last night’s Academy Awards ceremony, but we had them at New Directors/New Films first!

This year, we’re celebrating the 40^thanniversary of the premiere festival for filmmakers whose works break and re-cast the cinematic mold. If you are a Film Society Member, you have the exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets to some of this year’s most compelling and exciting films before they go on sale to the general public.

The Member Priority Period begins Wednesday, March 2^ndat 12:00PM and runs through Saturday, March 12^th.  Don’t miss your chance to catch this year's phenomenal line-up of films from today's most promising filmmakers, including the highly-anticipated premiere of J.C. Chandor's Margin Call on Opening Night. Chandor is in good company- the festival slate also includes Denis Villeneuve's Academy Award-nominated Incendies and international festival favorites like Octubre </em>(Daniel and Diego Vega), Winter Vacation (Hongqi Li), and the Closing Night film Circumstance (Maryam Keshavarz).
