Pedro Almodóvar returns to this year’s New York Film Festival with a haunting new film, adapted from three short stories by Alice Munro (“Chance,” “Soon,” and “Silence”). With Julieta, his 20th movie, the NYFF favorite returns to some of his favorite themes (love, sexuality, guilt, and destiny). Check out this new clip, which provides a sample of the atmosphere, color, and narrative structure of the master’s latest work.

Julieta will screen in the Main Slate of the 54th New York Film Festival. Watch more clips and trailers from NYFF films in our YouTube playlist and subscribe to our channel for the latest videos from the festival and the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
