Following a screening of Ingrid Bergman – In Her Own Words at the 53rd New York Film Festival, director Stig Björkman and Pia Lindström, daughter of Ingrid Bergman, joined NYFF selection committee member Marian Masone to discuss the documentary. The film, which opens today at the Lincoln Plaza Cinema, is a portrait crafted from Bergman’s own letters, diaries, photographs, and Super-8 and 16mm footage.
