In conversation with NYFF director Kent Jones, Ang Lee discusses his filmography, his approach to directing, and the future of filmmaking technology. Lee, whose latest work Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk had its world premiere the prior night at the New York Film Festival, experimented with the new high frame rate of 124 frames per second paired with 3-D for the film, which was shown in this format.
