Following the screening of Son of Saul at the 53rd New York Film Festival, director László Nemes and star Géza Röhrig talked about their controversial film with NYFF Selection Committee member Gavin Smith. The film, an immersive view of the Holocaust, follows a Jewish man working as a Sonderkommando in Auschwitz who finds the body of a boy he believes to be his son. Son of Saul is now in theaters in limited release.
