LOS ANGELES, CA — JANUARY 10, 2013 — “Primer,” director Shane Carruth’s new movie, “Upstream Color,” is entered into competition at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Carruth wrote, directed, produced, performed, and composed the music for his independent film, “Primer,” which was honored at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival with the Grand Jury Prize.
