“With its glamour and star-studded parade of talent, it’s a cinch for top biz”—Variety

A young vaudevillian hits the heights (Judy), a young elevator operator hits the skids (Lana Turner), and a young estranged wife (Hedy Lamarr) is hit with the realization that home is better than the stage of Ziegfeld’s legendary Follies.

Two new production numbers, “You Stepped out of a Dream” and “Minnie from Trinidad,” are augmented by such standards as “I’m Always Chasing Rainbows” and “Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Shean.” The cast includes Tony Martin, Charles Winninger, Al Shean, Edward Everett Horton, Jackie Cooper, Ian Hunter, Eve Arden, Philip Dorn, and Dan Dailey.
