A Gala Benefit for the Film Society of Lincoln Center
In Celebration of New Line Cinema’s 40th Anniversary A Special Event of The 45th New York Film Festival

This gala event features a salute to forty years of New Line Cinema films, followed by dinner and dancing in the Atrium and Allen Room in Frederick P. Rose Hall. Hosted by New Line Cinema Co-Chairmen Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne with special guests Nicole Kidman and other superstars, this event commemorates New Line’s 40 years of achievement, as well as the long and successful collaboration between New Line and the Film Society. Join us in saluting the company that brought us the Lord of the Rings trilogy, A History of Violence, The Sweet Hereafter, the just-released Hairspray and many more memorable films. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Film Society’s capital campaign to build what promises to be the country’s most important showcase for quality cinema: the Elinor Bunin-Munroe Film Center at Lincoln Center.
