46th New York Film Festival September 26 - October 12, 2008
Premiering the best in cinema from around the world.
The New York Film Festival is open to entries from all filmmakers, regardless of experience. Please note, however, that entries to the New York Film Festival (NYFF) tend to include works by many well-established filmmakers, meaning that the level of competition to get a film accepted is very high. A special section of the NYFF is Views from the Avant-Garde which premieres non-narrative, experimental film and video. You may not submit to both the main Festival and the Avant-Garde section, you must chose one.
The deadline for submissions to the New York Film Festival is 5pm on July 14, 2008. The deadline is the date we need to have RECEIVED your entry. Please submit the most finished version of your film by the deadline. We will only accept ONE version of your film. Please do NOT send a second copy, regardless any changes that have been made.
You may download the NYFF Application Form or call 212-875-5610 to have an application mailed to you. Please note: Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to download the festival application form.
