A whirlwind final weekend of the 54th New York Film Festival saw the world premieres of Ang Lee’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk and The Lost City of Z, as well as the U.S. premieres of Jackie, Elle, and more. Red carpet appearances included Natalie Portman, Kristen Stewart (for the third time this festival!), Robert Pattinson, Steve Martin, and Isabelle Huppert, among others.
A host of talks and free events accompanied the weekend’s multitude of screenings, including the annual Film Comment Festival Wrap on Friday night. Panels and talks highlighted some of the most talented screenwriters, casting directors, animators, and directors featured in this year’s festival.
The 54th New York Film Festival ran September 30 – October 16 at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Stay tuned to our blog for even more photos, videos, and announcements of upcoming events at the Film Society!
