Balancing work in the mainstream and arthouse worlds, Adam Driver has emerged in the past few years as one of the brightest young stars in cinema. Last Sunday, we honored him at An Evening with Adam Driver, an intimate event benefiting the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Following a seated dinner, Director of the New York Film Festival Kent Jones sat down with Driver to discuss his thriving career working with some of the biggest names in film. Driver stars as a poetically-inclined bus driver in Jim Jarmusch’s latest film, Paterson, screening as part of NYFF’s Main Slate.
