Peter Mettler: Pictures of Light
November 8 – 12
Acid trips, cave paintings, airport evangelists, slot machines, techno music, laughter therapy, tar sands, lava flows, the search for the Higgs boson, the Northern Lights—for the past 30 years, Canadian artist Peter Mettler has been making singular, unclassifiable films about humanity’s relationship to the natural world. Film Society welcomes Mettler for a mid-career retrospective, including a local premiere of his latest, The End of Time, as part of Lincoln Center’s White Light Festival.
