As the Cannes Film Festival winds down, take a look back with these photos from the past 10 days:

Outside the busy Palais des Festivals in Cannes on what turned out to be a rare sunny day at the festival this year. Many of us probably talked too much about the weather, but the persistent storms were a surprise. Veterans who have been coming to this festival for decades said they'd never seen weather like this in Cannes. The downpour on the first weekend even damaged one of the temporary theater structures and washed out many of the evening screenings on a nearby beach. Photo by Eugene Hernandez

Every day young people stand outside the Palais, dressed in their evening best, holding signs that announce which screening they're hoping to gain access to. There always seem to be way more kids with signs than actual tickets. Photo by Eugene Hernandez
