Will you help us fill these boxes to provide support for those in need? Thanks!

Within just one day of the impact of Hurricane Sandy, staffers at the Film Society mobilized to re-open Film Society venues. Members of our theater team endured a nearly three-hour commute to get to Lincoln Center to open our venues each morning even as other administrative staffers remained stranded in Brooklyn and Queens. Some have suffered catastrophic damage to their homes and are living in communities with many needs.

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the Film Society of Lincoln Center is currently collecting much needed supplies for the relief efforts in Far Rockaway. We will be personally delivering donations to those in need in the coming days.

A donation box is now available in the lobby at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center at Lincoln Center (144 W. 65th St. between Broadway and Amsterdam).

If you would like to send donations by mail or have items delivered, please use the following address:

Film Society of Lincoln Center
70 Lincoln Center Plaza, Floor 4
New York, NY 10023

At this time we are asking for ONLY the following donations. This list has been revised:

Batteries
Blankets
Bottled Water
Canned Goods / Dried Fruits & Non-Perishables
Candles & Matches/Lighters
Cleaning Supplies
Diapers (Children & Adults) / Wipes / Powder
Dog & Cat Food
