Jacques Tourneur's Canyon Passage (1946)

On September 17, Film Society of Lincoln Center will host a conversation with film critic Geoffrey O’Brien, moderated by NYFF Director of Programming Kent Jones, in which he will discuss his new book Stolen Glimpses, Captive Shadows. O’Brien is the editor-in-chief of the Library of America and a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books. The discussion will be followed by a screening of one of the films O’Brien writes about, Jacques Tourneur’s 1946 color Western Canyon Passage, starring Dana Andrews, Brian Donley and Susan Hayward.
