I Give It a Year Heads to U.S. Theaters
Dan Mazer wrote and directed the British comedy starring Rose Byrne, Anna Farris, Simon Baker, Rafe Spall, Minnie Driver and Stephen Merchant. The film, which had its North American premiere at the recent SXSW Film Festival, picks up where most fairy tales end. It begins after the romance and excitement of the wedding and the realities of marriage start to sink in. Magnolia Pictures, which picked up rights to the film, plans a theatrical release for I Give It A Year, which already opened in the U.K., later this year in addition to a Video On Demand release. Mazer collaborated with Sacha Baron Cohen on Borat.

Miracle in Cell No. 7 became the 8th homespun movie ever to break 10 million admissions. The surpass for this film is that it's a comedy, whereas most others were action blockbusters.
