The first press conferences for the 49th Annual New York Film Festival began on Monday, September 19 with the filmmakers for THE LONELIEST PLANET and YOU ARE NOT I talking to the press following screenings of their films at the Walter Reade Theater.

YOU ARE NOT I director Sara Driver said Paul Bowles' agent informed her that the production was the very rare case where shooting the film prior to getting the rights worked out for them since he happened to like the final result.
