Nate's project Undead End is a transmedia radio drama inspired by Orson Welles' 1938 performance of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. Told via radio news broadcasts and across multiple media channels, the story centers around GeneEva Research Labs and its Head Science Officer Dr. Daniel Matheson. The goal of the lab's research is to engineer a set of treatments that “usher in the next stage of human evolution.” But when word leaks out that GeneEva's research is funded by the US Department of Defense, people begin to wonder the true nature of their research. As events unfold, questions arise: What kind of research were they doing at GeneEva? How long has it been going on? And does it have anything to do with this strange virus wreaking havoc across the city? Undead End was syndicated on WZBC Boston and modified to air on WPHZ in Bloomington, Indiana and had over 6500 listeners.

The second half of this month's meetup features Sylvain Leroux presenting Fanfan2, a transmedia collaboration between author Alexandre Jardin and Orange France. A romantic drama which played out across multiple platforms, this pioneering transmedia project was made widely available to audiences in France.
