The Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Jewish Museum have partnered to present the 21st Annual New York Jewish Film Festival. From January 11 – 26, 35 features and shorts will celebrate Jewish history and culture around the world. The festival gets started with Guy Nattiv's new drama Mabul (The Flood) in its New York premiere (pictured). Featuring spectacular performances from the entire cast, Mabul is the perfect choice to kick off the event. The festival ends on an equally strong note with the world premiere of Welcome to Kutsher’s: The Last Catskills Resort, a documentary about the resilient resort that helped shape the entertainment landscape.
These two picks epitomize the selection of this year's festival. There will be something for every taste, with a mix of dramas like Mary Lou and the long lost Breaking Home Ties; comedies such as Bachelor Days Are Over; and a slate of documentaries with just as much diversity. The 21st Annual New York Jewish Film Festival will entertain and educate, all while celebrating the achievements of Jewish cinema worldwide.
