One week ago, At Eternity’s Gate closed out the 56th New York Film Festival with an artistic touch. Julian Schnabel’s ravishingly tactile and luminous new film takes a fresh look at the last days of Vincent van Gogh, played by Willem Dafoe in a shattering performance. Schnabel and Dafoe were joined by Oscar Isaac, Rupert Friend, legendary screenwriter Jean-Claude Carrière, co-writer and editor Louise Kugelberg, cinematographer Benoît Delhomme, and more! Following the premiere, Carrière, Schnabel, and Dafoe participated in extensive talks.
