The 55th New York Film festival continued to enchant with receptions, Q&As, and much more! We hosted a reception with Cinema Tropical, the leading presenter of Latin American cinema in the U.S. In attendance were Zama director Lucrecia Martel, actors Sonia Braga and Isabelle Huppert, and Western director Valeska Grisebach, among others. That same week, Grisebach and actor Syuleyman Alilov Lefitov presented the gripping Western. Additionally, director Ruben Östlund introduced his ambitious satire The Square, and followed up with a Q&A also featuring stars Dominic West and Terry Notary.
