The 46th edition of New Directors/New Films came to a close last weekend with a variety of exciting Q&As and special events. The second half of the festival was packed with inventive and daring films, including Strong Island, Pendular, Sexy Durga, The Challenge, and more. The week also included an industry mixer party and the second edition of the Film Society’s Industry Academy. Closing out the festival was Dustin Guy Defa’s ensemble film Person to Person, with Defa and the cast taking part in a post-screening Q&A before the Closing Night party.
