With the 56th New York Film Festival wrapped up, we welcomed a few guests back to the Film Society of Lincoln Center. A pair of favorite titles from the festival, Wildlife and Burning, began their official theatrical releases here, and we offered Q&As featuring Paul Dano, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bill Camp, and Steven Yeun. This month’s Patron Evening was a screening of Green Book followed by a Q&A that included Peter Farrelly and stars Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen. Sandi Tan, director of the Sundance prizewinner Shirkers, joined Farihah Zaman for the latest Film Comment Free Talk. We also had our third annual My First Film Fest, featuring Q&As for A Polar Year and Tito and the Birds.
