The last few weeks at the Film Society of Lincoln Center have been packed with special events, screenings, series, and festivals. The Female Gaze, our two-week series celebrating the work of female cinematographers, featured a sold-out opening of Beau Travail, followed by a Q&A with Agnès Godard. We also held a free talk with Godard, Natasha Braier, Ashley Connor, and Joan Churchill (which you can listen to here), and the following week Skate Kitchen director Crystal Moselle participated in a Film Comment Free Talk. Additionally, in July, Dance on Camera Festival concluded its 46th edition, and we had a special event featuring certain crew members from the landmark documentary Gimme Shelter, presented by author Saul Austerlitz.
