Stephen Schwartz, the prolific Oscar and Grammy Award-winning composer and lyricist whose work has appeared on both the Broadway stage (Wicked, Pippin) and the silver screen (Godspell, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Prince of Egypt, Enchanted), brings his latest work to New York audiences. This psychological thriller is based on the novel by Mark McShane and the 1964 award-winning cult film directed by Bryan Forbes and starring Kim Stanley and Richard Attenborough.

Schwartz wrote the lead role for Lauren Flanigan, who stars as Myra, an ambitious psychic who orchestrates an elaborate kidnapping scheme so that her “vision” can ensure a successful recovery, a generous ransom, and the fame she so desperately craves. The dubious plan goes awry as her fragile sanity crumbles.
