This month we’re spotlighting a selection of essential films by South Korean master Hong Sangsoo. Film at Lincoln Center’s Virtual Cinema is now playing the first U.S. theatrical releases of Yourself and Yours and Hill of Freedom, which will be joined by a brilliant new 4K restoration of Woman on the Beach this Friday, June 19.

To celebrate his prolific output and improvisational style, we wanted to know: if you could see Hong Sangsoo’s version of any existing film, which would it be? We put out a call to the FLC community of Hong lovers on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, and in response received an entertaining collection of what-if scenarios that really got our imaginations going. Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation!

Although our theaters are currently closed, our Virtual Cinema and Media Center remain open 24/7. Stay connected to Film at Lincoln Center by joining our online community on InstagramTwitter, or Facebook, and don’t miss a thing by subscribing to the weekly newsletter.
