After the success of last year's Sundance and SXSW programs, Film Society Director of Digitial Strategy Eugene Hernandez will once again host the Film Society Daily Buzz at the Village at the Lift on Main Street throughout the Sundance Film Festival, scheduled to open tomorrow.

Celebrating his own Sundance milestone—this is his 20th(!)—Hernandez will be stationed at the Village at the Lift each morning along with a slew of impressive guests scheduled to partake in his much-loved podcasts over the course of the 10-day festival. Furthermore, this unique program will not be limited only to Sundance, but will also return at several other festivals over the course of this year including SXSW and the 51st New York Film Festival this fall (September 27 — October 13).

“With this daily program, we're hoping to bring the best of festivals to audiences around the world by featuring in-depth conversations about the films and filmmakers that moviegoers, film critics and industry types are talking about,” said Hernandez in a statement.

Surely, many of us won't be able to make it snowy Park City for Sundance. But thanks to the Film Society Daily Buzz you can be kept abreast on all the latest goings-on and even learn a thing or two about the festival experience from a variety of professional vantage points.

A number of acclaimed documentary directors will sit down to talk about their new movies, including RJ Cutler (The World According to Dick Cheney), Lucy Walker (The Crash Reel) and Carl Deal and Tia Lessin (Citizen Koch).

Each show begins with a round of hot topics featuring critics and journalists sharing the latest buzz on the movies and deals making waves at the fest. Among those set to weigh in are Brooks Barnes (New York Times), Brian Brooks (Movieline), Scott Foundas (Village Voice), Anne Thompson (Indiewire), and Scott Macaulay (Filmmaker Magazine).

Industry insiders will participate in one-on-one interviews including film producer Christine Vachon, Columbia University dean Ira Deutchman from Emerging Pictures, Creative Capital Foundation head Ruby Lerner and top film sales agent John Sloss.

Presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and produced by Irene Cho, this third annual edition of the Daily Buzz from Sundance is presented locally in association with Salt Lake City public radio station KRCL (90.9FM) and will stream on the Film Society's FilmLinc.com, as well as via an iTunes podcast.

Past guests of the show include Oscar nominees Benh Zeitlin (Beasts of the Southern Wild), David France (How to Survive a Plague) and Kirby Dick (The Invisible War).
