The 54th New York Film Festival’s Closing Night showcased the world premiere of James Gray’s The Lost City of Z. Following a press screening of the film, director James Gray and cast members Sienna Miller, Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland, and Angus Macfadyen discussed the film with festival director Kent Jones.
The film, following explorer Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam) in his search for a lost Amazonian city over three decades, was adapted from David Grann’s nonfiction book The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon.
