Julieta is the newest film from Pedro Almodóvar. As she prepares to leave her home in Madrid forever, a woman named Julieta has a chance encounter that alters the course of her life and forces her to examine long-buried memories from a painful past. Adapted from three short stories by Alice Munro, Julieta weaves between the past and the present to tell a tale that spans thirty years. At a press conference during the 54th New York Film Festival, Almodóvar is joined by actors Emma Suárez and Adriana Ugarte to discuss the making of their new film. Julieta opens in select theaters December 21.
