This year’s On Cinema master class, sponsored by HBO, featured legendary director Jim Jarmusch, who had two films at the 54th New York Film Festival: Main Slate selection Paterson starring Adam Driver, and a documentary on Iggy Pop and the Stooges called Gimme Danger, which will open here at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on October 28. Jarmusch sat down with Director of NYFF Kent Jones to discuss directors and films that have inspired him over the course of his career, sharing clips from some of his favorites.
