The advent of digital and social media has created a new sort of audience. No longer content to be passive consumers of information or entertainment, the members of the “New Audience” expect to be active participants in their media. As a group, the New Audience doesn’t want to be told about a product via traditional advertising – the 30-second TV spot (because after all, who watches live TV!). This has led to a resurgence in Branded Entertainment, content that is supported by long form narrative and crafted to appeal to an audience that actively searches it out to engages with it.

Steve Coulson (Campfire) – Steve guides creative development for comprehensive transmedia and social experiences as a Partner & Creative Director at Campfire. His 15 years of experience in new media marketing includes work for Infiniti, HBO, Discovery Channel, Harley-Davidson, American Eagle and Coca-Cola.
Behnam Karbassi (No Mimes Media) – Behnam has directed and produced innovative, Emmy-winning projects for top companies including Toyota, Cisco, Warner Brothers, Fox and Sony. He has led teams at top ad agencies developing industry firsts for multi-million dollar brands. His love of filmmaking led to founding an independent production company creating award-winning short films, music videos and content. Behnam became a noted expert in the field of “Transmedia Entertainment”, on projects including the recipient of the first-ever Interactive Primetime Emmy award. He co-founded No Mimes Media, which became a leading global transmedia company.
Jennifer Warren (Brand Cinema) – Jennifer is the co-founder and Head of Development at BrandCinema, spearheading partnership development between content creators, brands, and online networks working to accelerate innovation in digital video and emerging advertising formats. A result orientated sales and marketing professional 15 years in the entertainment industry working with startups and Fortune 500 companies, Jennifer has headed marketing departments at entertainment companies in London, New York and Los Angeles.
