Young Ahmed, the latest from Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, directors of Rosetta, L’enfant, and The Kid with a Bike, will have its North American Premiere at this year’s NYFF. Another intimate portrayal-in-furious-motion of a protagonist in crisis, it earned the Belgian filmmaking duo this year’s Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival. Join them as they sit down to discuss the film and their career. Moderated by Joe McGovern.
