Directed by a trio of promising filmmakers, this triptych reinterprets the tribulations of Shakespeare’s tragic heroine for three different eras. In the 1970s, a handicapped woman working at a print shop falls in love with a good-looking guy who walks in one day with banned materials. Then, in the sophisticated 1980s segment, a woman in a coastal
town literally embraces the insanity of love as part of her impossible-to-realize romance. The third and final segment offers a farcical take on a middle-aged “Juliet,” this time a desperate bachelor.

“A bewitching omnibus of romances.”
