An exciting discovery at this year's Sundance Film Festival, David Lowery is no stranger within American indie circles. Not only did he write and direct the upcoming Ain't Them Bodies Saints, he also edited Shane Carruth's recent Upstream Color (NDNF '13) and co-wrote Yen Tan's Sundance and SXSW hit Pit Stop.

David Lowery will be at Film Society to discuss his Texas drama, Ain't Them Bodies Saints, which stars Rooney Mara, Ben Foster and Casey Affleck in a story of love and outlaws. The film opens at the Film Society on August 16.

This Summer Talk is free and open to the public. Complimentary tickets will be distributed at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center box office on a first-come, first-served basis starting one hour prior to the conversation. Limit: one ticket per person. For those unable to attend, video will be available at youtube.com/filmlinc.
