Director Luca Lucini in person on June 4!

Fresh from a suicide attempt over a failed love affair, Leonardo (Luca Argentero) moves cautiously back into the family fold, navigating between his domineering mother (beautifully played by Stefania Sandrelli) and his urbane, successful, constantly womanizing brother Giorgio (Alessandro Gassman). As luck would have it, Leonardo soon meets Sara (Valentina Ludovini), also recovering from a failed love affair; the two think they’re perfect soul mates—that is, until Leonardo decides to bring her home to meet the family. A sharply observed comedy with a dark underlining, The Woman of My Life regards all its characters with tremendous generosity; there are no real heroes or villains here, just differing levels of self-delusion.
