Film at Lincoln Center thanks the many corporate partners of the 59th New York Festival (NYFF), and celebrates the most robust corporate sponsor support in the festival’s history.

FLC Executive Director Lesli Klainberg said, “We are honored by the outpouring of support from the corporate community amid a challenging year for all. That so many disparate industries have come together to herald our historic festival’s return to cinemas is not only gratifying to our organization and our filmmakers, but it reaffirms our partners’ commitment to supporting film culture in our beloved and resilient home, NYC.”

Many of NYFF’s corporate partners are presenting the curated programs that define the festival: HBO is the presenting partner of all NYFF59 feature documentaries and NYFF59 Talks; Campari is the official spirits partner of NYFF59 and the presenting partner of the Opening Night selection, Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth; Citi is the presenting partner of Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Lost Daughter and sponsor of the new Explore Pass, showcasing the directors making their Main Slate debuts this year; Topic Studios is the sponsor of the NYFF59 Industry Program, including exclusive industry talks; Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is sponsoring the Revivals presentation of Mira Nair’s Mississippi Masala, along with a related talk; and MUBI is the sponsor of the Amos Vogel Centenary Retrospective, a wide-ranging tribute to the late film programmer and NYFF co-founder.

Additionally, several partners are presenting original content to support NYFF59. Campari will host the North American premiere of Campari Red Diaries 2021: Fellini Forward, an NYFF59 Partner Presentation. A pioneering project inspired by legendary director Federico Fellini, the film uses artificial intelligence to create a one-of-a-kind short film, and will be paired with an innovative documentary that explores the making of the short and considers the future of cinema. Netflix will present an original content series, FLC Luminaries, highlighting a diverse range of talent from NYFF59 official selections discussing the art and craft of cinema. The NYFF59 edition features Olivia Colman (star of The Lost Daughter), Ari Wegner (DP for The Power of the Dog), and Rebecca Hall (director of Passing). And Vanity Fair’s Awards Insider will present an exclusive portrait series, featuring beautiful in-studio photographs of NYFF59 filmmakers and talent.

Finally, Radeberger Pilsner, the official beer of the festival, has designed custom NYFF59-branded cans available in select stores nationwide, while Nordstrom is hosting invitation-only customer focused events in partnership with NYFF59 in its NYC Flagship store on West 57th Street.

FLC’s impressive list of media partners includes The New York Times, Variety, Vulture, Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, WABC-7, The WNET Group, and IndieWire. Additional collaborators include Supporting Partner Hearst and Contributing Partners Dolby, NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Manhattan Portage, and UniFrance. American Airlines, continuing its support this year, is the Official Airline of Film at Lincoln Center.

Presented by Film at Lincoln Center, the New York Film Festival highlights the best in world cinema and takes place September 24 – October 10, 2021. An annual bellwether of the state of cinema that has shaped film culture since 1963, the festival continues an enduring tradition of introducing audiences to bold and remarkable works from celebrated filmmakers as well as fresh new talent.

NYFF59 will feature in-person screenings, as well as select outdoor and virtual events. In response to distributor and filmmaker partners, and in light of festivals returning and theaters reopening across the country, NYFF will not offer virtual screenings for this year’s edition.

Proof of full vaccination will be required for all staff, audiences, and filmmakers at NYFF59 venues. FLC requires all guests to maintain face coverings consistent with the current CDC guidelines inside their spaces regardless of vaccination status. Additionally, NYFF59 will adhere to a comprehensive series of health and safety policies in coordination with Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and state and city medical experts, while adapting as necessary to the current health crisis.
