How to Access Pre-Sale and Redeem Pre-Paid Pass Vouchers

Pre-sale tickets and pass vouchers can be redeemed online (recommended) or in person at the Alice Tully Hall box office.

  • Online: When your pre-sale begins, you will receive an e-mail with details on how to begin. FLC Members will log into their account to access pre-sale and Passholders will receive a unique link to redeem vouchers. You can begin selecting films from the calendar beginning on September 30.     • Passholders: When selecting tickets for each screening, the system will give you the option to “Redeem NYFF Pre-Paid Pass.” Use this option to redeem your vouchers. Click here for a step-by-step guide.
    • Members and Patrons: Choose the “Member Ticket” to add tickets to your cart. This will give you the discounted Member rate.
  • In-Person: Visit the Alice Tully Hall box office, located at Broadway and 65th Street.
    • Hours of operation are Monday–Saturday, 10am to 6pm; Sunday, 12pm to 6pm.
    • Please note: it is standard policy that the box office agent will require the member ID number found on your digital membership card to verify your pre-sale eligibility.

Passholder Details

Opening Night Pass

  • One (1) ticket to an Opening Night screening
  • Ten (10) tickets to be used throughout NYFF at Main Slate or Spotlight screenings of your choice; max two tickets per screening per pass

Centerpiece & Closing Night Pass

  • One (1) ticket to a Centerpiece Night screening
  • One (1) ticket to a Closing Night screening
    Ten (10) tickets to be used throughout NYFF at Main Slate or Spotlight screenings of your choice; max two tickets per screening per pass

Cinephile Pass

  • Ten (10) tickets to be used throughout NYFF at Main Slate or Spotlight screenings of your choice; max two tickets per screening per pass

Premier Pass

  • One (1) ticket to an Opening Night screening
  • One (1) ticket to a Centerpiece Night screening
  • One (1) ticket to a Closing Night screening
  • Thirty (30) tickets to be used throughout NYFF at Main Slate or Spotlight screenings of your choice; max two tickets per screening per pass*
  • Your Hauser Lounge Pass can be redeemed on the first day of the festival (September 30, 2022) by retrieving your credential at the check-in table in Alice Tully Hall.

All Passholders will also receive an automatic FLC Membership at the Individual level starting November 1, 2022.

Bronze, Silver, and Gold VIP Passes

As a VIP Pass holder, you receive concierge support from our Patron Desk. You will receive presale instructions and festival details by email. For additional information, please contact the Patron Desk at [email protected].

Planning Your Itinerary

Festival venues include Alice Tully Hall, the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center, and the Walter Reade Theater, with additional venues to be announced. The schedule will launch in late August.

Log-In & Website Reminders

  • For help accessing the website or other issues on your presale date, please e-mail [email protected] or call the NYFF Hotline at (212) 875-5631. The NYFF Hotline will be available weekdays during the Member and Passholder Presale, September 6-15, 11:00am – 5:00pm ET.
  • Due to security reasons, we do not have your password, but we can send you a “forgot login” email that will prompt you to reset your password. It takes at least 10-15 minutes for the “forgot login” email to arrive, so make sure to log-in in advance.
  • We highly recommend purchasing tickets from a desktop computer, not a mobile phone or tablet, because you will lose your place in the Virtual Waiting Room if your connection drops out. To prevent Internet disruption, we recommend completing your order on a desktop computer.
  • If logged in properly, you’ll be taken to the Calendar page after successfully entering your email and password. You should also see your email address appear at the top of the website. Once logged into your account:
    • Select the first screening you wish to attend from any of the NYFF scheduling or Calendar pages.
    • If you purchased a prepaid pass use “Redeem NYFF Pre-Paid Pass” to add tickets to your cart. If you are a Member or Patron, use the “Member” ticket to add tickets to your cart.
    • After you’ve added all the tickets you wish to purchase to your cart, review your order and click “Check Out.”
  • There is a 30-minute limit for your cart online. We recommend making more than one transaction if necessary so that you do not lose the tickets in your cart.
  • Please note you may be placed in a Virtual Waiting Room due to high demand. This ensures that the website does not crash or move slowly while processing orders. It is important that you do not navigate away from this page.

Ticket Reminders

  • The ticketing system will require you to log into your account to access your pre-sale period.
  • There is a maximum of two (2) tickets per screening, per household. All tickets are subject to availability. No refunds or exchanges.
  • Seat Assignments: Alice Tully Hall (ATH) is a reserved seat house. Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center (EBM) and the Walter Reade Theater (WRT) are General Admission houses.
  • All tickets and seating locations are subject to availability. Seat locations are automatically assigned on a best available basis. If you have a specific seating preference, tickets must be purchased in-person at the Alice Tully Hall box office.
  • Ticket Delivery: You may select your delivery option during fulfillment.
  • Digital Ticket (Recommended): For the fastest and most convenient ticket delivery, we suggest using the Digital Ticket option. Tickets will be sent to you via email within 48 hours for you to print or display on your mobile device.
  • You can also access copies of your Digital Tickets through your online account. After logging in, click Account in the upper left corner and then select Upcoming Events/Tickets.
  • Hold at the box office: Tickets can be picked up at the corresponding venue’s box office.
  • Please note the standard single ticket fees will be waived during your pre-sale period.
  • Tickets will be offline from 5pm on Friday September 16 until noon on Tuesday, September 19, when tickets go on sale to the General Public.
