One of the highlights of last year’s Savannah Film Festival was a screening of Stanley Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon followed by a stimulating and wide-ranging dialogue between two of the sharpest minds in American movies: Oscar-nominated actor Alec Baldwin (30 Rock, The Cooler) and Oscar-nominated writer-director James Toback (Bugsy, Two Girls and a Guy). We’re delighted to welcome Baldwin and Toback to the Film Society for a special encore engagement in which this dynamic duo will offer their take on Bernardo Bertolucci’s landmark erotic drama, Last Tango in Paris.
