Starring Zoe Kravitz, in her first lead role, Yelling to the Sky tells the story of Sweetness O’Hara, a 17-year-old girl who is left to fend for herself as her family falls apart, in a neighborhood where her survival is uncertain. This coming-of-age film also features Gabourey Sidibe in her second role after receiving a 2010 Best Actress Oscar-nomination for Precious. The film also stars Jason Clarke, Tariq Trotter (Black Thought of The Roots), Tim Blake Nelson, Jason Clarke, Antonique Smith, Marc John Jefferies, and Shareeka Epps. It premiered, in competition, at the Berlin Film Festival.

ImageNation Cinema Foundation is a Harlem-based media arts organization, founded with the goal of establishing a chain of art-house cinemas, dedicated to progressive media by and about people of color.
