Norwegian films are continuing to find strong international audiences, as a new generation offers its own, often particular takes on life in one of the world’s most prosperous and liberal societies. We present an impressive selection of new works from Norway, as well as tribute to the late Edith Carlmar, a remarkable director who delighted audiences and critics alike when she visited the Walter Reade Theater in 1999.

Presented with the support of the Norwegian Film Institute and the Consulate General of Norway in New York.
