One of Hollywood’s most influential figures, Clooney is widely admired for his multifaceted career as an actor, director, and producer, as well as for his global humanitarian work and reputation for humility, quick wit, and personal integrity. 

The full house at Alice Tully Hall enjoyed a vibrant night with a special flamenco-inspired dance from Mikhail Baryshnikov, a joyful celebration of the director’s incredible body of work, and heartfelt tributes from Rossy de Palma, Dua Lipa, John Waters, John Turturro, and more.

Film at Lincoln Center was pleased to honor Pedro Almodóvar as the recipient of the 50th Chaplin Award on Monday, April 28.

The Gala evening will feature renowned performer and artistic director Mikhail Baryshnikov; actress and longtime Almodóvar muse Rossy de Palma; global pop powerhouse Dua Lipa; Emmy Award–winning actor, director, and writer John Turturro; and acclaimed filmmaker, writer, and artist John Waters. The Chaplin Award Tribute will feature excerpts from a selection of the beloved Spanish director’s work; appearances by actors, friends, and colleagues; and the presentation of the award itself.
