Film at Lincoln Center and Cinecittà present the 25th anniversary edition of Open Roads: New Italian Cinema, to be presented from May 28 through June 4.

This year’s edition presents 14 new feature films, ranging from works by acclaimed directors returning to Open Roads, to notable debuts by four new filmmakers—underscoring the breadth and vitality of Italian cinema today.

Open Roads: New Italian Cinema is the leading screening series to offer North American audiences a diverse and extensive lineup of contemporary Italian films.

The 17-film festival features nine North American and seven New York premieres, including the Opening Night selection of Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza’s Sicilian Ghost Story.

From annual festivals like Art of the Real to Tarkovsky restorations, there’s a lot in store ranging from classics to the latest talents in world cinema.
